Prague
I have been told it is easy to fall head over heels in love with Prague as it has a real storybook feel to it. It is a maze of cobbled lanes, churches and townhouse peaks and up to a city sized fortress perched on the hill.
The best sites to go to are Charles Bridge with its parade of statues and the castle, Old Town Square is filled with pavement cafes and is in the centre of the city which means all the popular places to go are within easy reach and is also the main shopping area and the centre of the city’s nightlife.
The city is more of a culture holiday than a party holiday as the city is chock-a-block with galleries, music and the music scene is supposed to be impressive as well. They have festivals during the summer time and events like ballet and opera in the autumn and winter.
The best time to go is supposed to be winter with the snow filled views.
