Monaco
I was watching GMTV this morning and was lured in by their holiday competition at the moment. Not so much that I was going to spend a pound entering because i’m not that lucky, but interested enough to watch the advert and to have a daydream about being there. They are offering a holiday to Monte-Carlo, which got me thinking about the South of France. This is somewhere you only ever hear fabulous reports of. From what I have heard, most of the people who go to Monte Carlo do so because they are rich or pretending to be rich and want to mingle with other rich people! Monte-Carlo is a very beautiful place; positioned between the mountains and the sea it has the gorgeous Mediterranean climate, the mix of city, sea and scenery it truly is the place to go for a special occasion. It only takes a couple of hours to get there from the UK so is a perfect destination for a short break and has activities readily available to suit every taste. There is an abundance of restaurants, shops, theatres, musical events, sports events including the Monaco Grand Prix and various other attractions. Wow, I really want to go now. Perhaps i’ll see you there!
