I have been considering a holiday to Indonesia recently and I have been browsing the internet trying to find myself a reasonably priced flight. Fortunately, I have a friend to stay with in Jakarta.

One thing I am most concerned about is when is it going to be rainy season? Indonesia experiences only two seasons, dry and wet. Between October and February, is rainy season and March to September is dry season. During the wet season, you can have up to 15 days of rain which is definitely not what you want whilst you are on holiday.

Avoiding areas like the Caribbean during the hurricane season is also advisable, especially after seeing the after effects of Hurricane Katrina and other such atrocities.
